Chicken is not meant to be tasteless. Consider wild poultry such as pheasant, duck, and turkey, all are flavorful and unique in their own way. So why is most chicken rather plain and boring? Through selective breeding, the modern-day industrial chicken is a far cry from what it once was.
Following a short time in the brooder, we raise our chickens completely outdoors. We prioritize fresh air, sunlight, clean water, and proper nutrition to foster the most flavorful chicken possible. Taking nearly twice as long to grow out, our birds are given the opportunity to develop flavor. They are fed a high quality transitional organic feed that is free of corn and soy.
PURCHASING CHICKEN
Chicken are sold frozen and whole. Pick up in Little Falls at the farm or local delivery available.
